Create an 11"x17" poster that utilizes:
Typography Hierarchy:
A title (1-3 words) that takes up most of the poster
Description that is much smaller (5-10 words)
Illustrations created/traced by you (Adobe Fresco)
Intertwine with parts of the letters (using the "Intertwine" vector effect in Illustrator)
Related to the text/content of the poster

If you don't want to come up with something yourself you can choose one of the following ideas:
Create a poster for a scuba diving competition, title: "Scuba Diving Championships", smaller text: "Monterey Bay Aquarium, August 10th" with ocean wave illustrations intertwined with the text
Create a poster for a pasta-making class, title: "Pasta Making", smaller text: "3 Hour Course, Sign up Online" with spaghetti illustrations intertwined with the text
Create a poster for a museum exhibit on snakes, title "Reptiles, Reptiles, Reptiles", smaller text: "Natural History Museum, Coming Soon" with snake illustrations intertwined with the text
On your iPad in Adobe Fresco,
Find an image to trace. Make sure your drawing has adequate space throughout the drawing like the images to the right.
Open Adobe Fresco.
Start a new document: tap "+ Create new"
Tap the "Print" tab
Tap "Tabloid"
Adjust the file name from "Untitled..." to "SUMMATIVE: Intertwine"
Tap the photo icon and tap "Photos"
Choose the template image.
Drag the corners to fill the page. Do not drag the sides.
Click "Done"
Use your Vector brush to draw/trace.
Spend about 30 minutes on this drawing.
Hide the image layer and the bottom white layer.
Tap the share icon at the top
Tap "Publish & Export"
Tap "Export as"
Choose "PDF"
Tap "Export"
Tap "Drive"
Go into the "Folder" area and tap "My Drive" > "Graphic Design 2" > "3 - Type"
Tap "Save here" in the bottom right
Tap "UPLOAD" in the top right
On your iMac:
Open Finder
Go to "My Drive" > " 3 - Type"
Right-click your "SUMMATIVE Intertwine.pdf" file
Click "Open with" > "Adobe Illustrator"
Go to "File" > "Save As..."
Click "Save to Creative Cloud"
Click "Save"
In your "Layers" panel, make a new layer and drag to the bottom.
Choose a color and use the "Rectangle Tool" to create a background.
Lock your bottom background layer.
Create your text boxes.
Your title (1-3 words) that takes up most of the poster
Your Description that is much smaller (5-10 words)
Select all the objects by either:
clicking and dragging to envelope all
holding shift down while you click all
Click "Object" > "Intertwine" > "Make"
Hover over an overlap that you want to swap and click.
You can also right-click to choose different arrangement options
Once you deselect it, if you want to go back and edit, select then click "Object" > "Intertwine" > "Edit"
Go back to your Google Doc and complete the reflection.
Go to "File" > "Save As..."
Click "Save on your computer"
Click the down arrow to the right of "Where"
Choose "My Drive" > "Graphic Design 2" > "3 - Typography"
Change the name to "SUMMATIVE: Intertwined Poster"
Change the Format to "Adobe PDF (pdf)"
Click "Save"
Click "Save PDF"
In Finder:
Right-click on "Graphic Design 2" and click "Copy link to clipboard"
Paste the link in Canvas.
