Specifying a Prompt

It is important that you use a good prompt when using these programs.

1. Copy the prompt below then fill in the (...) areas.

2. Either use your logline, characters, and story arc from the previous activity or update/change it.

Draft a script for a 3-5 minute short film based on the logline: (type). The story will include the characters: (paste or type your main character name and 5 supporting characters information). The 6-part story arc will be: Set-Up: (type). Inciting Incident: (type). Rising Action: (type). Climax: (type). Falling Action: (type). Resolution: (type). The film will be filmed in a school during the school day with access only to the outside, hallways, one classroom, and one green screen studio. The cast and production crew will be 10 students. All 10 students need to have at least 1 speaking part in the film. All 10 students will also need to have at least 2 shots that they are not on camera so they can film and work the audio equipment. When drafting, please format with a scene heading, character/action, character name, and dialogue all on separate lines so I can paste it into ArcStudioPro and easily format it to correct Script formatting.

2. Paste into the AI program you're using.

Review & Update

1. Read through the script in it's entirety

2. Respond to the prompt with at least one thing you want changed.

3. Finalize the script.
