Turn on the Acclaim light switcher (the switch is in the back)
For the lights to be on the following needs to be set:
The entire panel is on (there is a power switch in the top right hand edge of the panel)
“GRAND MASTER” should be “ON” @ 10
“B/O” above “GRAND MASTER” should be light off
“CROSS FADE” A should be 10, and B should be 0
“A” in the top left 1/3/8 should be on at 10 (you can turn the individual channels on/off this way)
Everything else should be at 0 as shown below.
Turn on the power strips on each of the 3 camera tripods.
This will turn on the cameras and the cameras will all move/turn to reset.
Once the cameras finish moving/resetting, adjust the hoods so that they are not in the way of the camera lens
Turn on the power strip on the cart with the TV to turn on the preview TV.
It will show the "Program" from the ATEM switcher in the Control Room.
Open the Macbook labeled "TELEPROMPTER COMPUTER"
Click the local login icon in the top right and login with the username/password on the sticky note
Open your script and Copy your script.
Go to telepromptermirror.com
Click "Edit" > "Select All" then "Edit" > "Paste and Match Style"
Mirror the text (click the "T<->")
This should show on all three teleprompters on the cameras.
Turn on the PortaCom BP-2000 Beltpack (attached to the headset)
Make sure it's on the same channel as the control room ones.
Anchors should clip the mics onto their clothes before turning them on.
Turn on both of the lav mics - put the switch all the way up to the top.
Turn on PROFX Audio Switcher (switch on the back-right side)
Turn on PORTACOM Power Console (switch on left front)
Turn on both PortaCom BP-2000 Beltpacks (which are attached to the headsets)
They should be on the same channel as the one in the Studio
Turn on the power strip labeled production switcher
this will turn on the switcher and the BENQ monitor, the HyperDeck, etc.
The top row of buttons (red) is Program. Click the labelled buttons 1, 2, or 3 to set what is live.
The bottom row of buttons (green) is Preview. Click the labelled buttons 1, 2, or 3 to set what is up next.
Turn on the AIDA Joystick Controller (the switch is on the back side)
Adjust the cameras using the joystick to be the correct camera framing as noted
CAM 1 ("Camera 5" on the display) should be zoomed in on anchor B (the anchor on the right)
CAM 2 ("Camera 6" on the display) should be zoomed out so both anchors are visible
CAM 3 ("Camera 7" on the display) should be zoomed in on anchor A (the anchor on the left)
Login to the Dell laptop (username/password on sticky note)
Open the Remote Camera Control Application
Click the refresh (double arrow) buttons on all three cameras.
Select one camera number then under "Exposure" click the face icon. De-select the camera number and repeat for the other cameras.
Login to the "Graphics and Recording Computer" using the username and password on the sticky note.
Open ATEM Software Control and Media Express.
If you want to save the files directly to Google Drive:
Go through the Google Drive set-up from iMac Set-Up.
Click "Media Express" the "Preferences..." and change the location to "My Drive" ... and choose the folder you want to save to.
To record, click "Capture" to start and stop.
(The Production Switcher must be on for this to work)
Wake up or turn on the iMac labeled "GRAPHICS & RECORDING COMPUTER"
Sign in with the local login and use the login information posted on the iMac
Log in to Creative Cloud
On the Desktop open the folder titled "Broadcast Graphics"
Open the graphic to edit in Photoshop
Once you finish editing, click "File" > "Export" > "ATEM Switcher Media Pool..."
Choose the Media Pool Location you'd like
If you want it to automatically go into one of the Madia Player Slots, select.
Click Export
Wake up or turn on the iMac labeled "GRAPHICS & RECORDING COMPUTER"
Sign in with the local login and use the login information posted on the iMac
Click the "ATEM Software Control" icon in the dock if it is not already open.
Click "Switcher" in the bottom menu
Click "Palettes" in the top right
Go to "Downstream Keys"
Under "Key 1" change the "Fill Source" to "Media Player 1"
Under "Key 2" change the "Fill Source"" to "Media Player 2"
Click "Media" in the bottom menu to open up the graphics
Drag the LowerThird to the first area and the OTS to the second area
Complete the set-up steps in reverse order
